    DDos attacks compensation

    GM-Modorok said: The compensation for the DDoS attacks from August the 8th until August the 12th and September the 7th will be issued tomorrow (26.09.2013). The compensation will restore all EP lost due to death on those dates and will also restore all Platinum lost by using Life insurance.

    Boss Battle rewards updates
    Boss Battle rewards
    The reward mechanic of boss battles has been redesigned to ensure the feature is no longer abused. The EP for a boss battle will be issued directly after the boss has been beaten and battle has ended.

    The amount of EP you get for beating a boss now depends on the number of players involved in the battle:

    If one or two characters beat a boss, the issued EP will be 36.000.
    If six or less characters beat a boss, the issued EP will be 12.000.
    If ten or less characters beat a boss, the issued EP will be 7.200.
    If more than ten characters beat a boss, the issued EP will be 1.900

    In addition, the limitation for boss battles has been raised to 20 characters.

    Game Code changes
    CipSoft have made some changes at the payment system to improve the handling of Game Codes.

    Game Codes can now be redeemed directly at TibiaME.com. Due to this modification Game Codes are now either only for Premium Time or Platinum.

    This means that the service of your choice will be transferred to your character right after you have entered your Game Code.

    DDos attacks and compensation
    GM-Modorok Said: During yesterday's downtime we installed different updates to improve the protection of our servers against DoS and DDoS attacks. As soon as the our game services are running smoothly again, we will start issuing compensations. So, please be patient.

    I will answer a few frequently asked questions from the community:

    1. What will be compensated?
    All deaths caused by the DDoS attacks will be compensated. We will compensate the EP your character lost due to death and we will also refund the Platinum for lost Life Insurances.

    2. When you will be compensated?
    As already mentioned it will take some time until the compensation will arrive. We first want to ensure that our systems are running smoothly. There will be another announcement as soon as the compensation date is terminated.

    3. What about another DoubleEP weekend?
    There will be another DoubleEP event before the the Autumn update is released. As usual we will announce the date shortly before the actual event.

    4. How will be compensated?
    The compensation will be processed automatically, so you do not need to contact our customer support.
